Kent Allard, better known as The Shadow, as well as various other assumed identities, was an early 20th century Earth vigilante, known by criminals for striking from the darkness and his horrifying laughter, found in the Street & Smith Multiverse.
A master of disguise, The Shadow typically operated under assumed names. One of the more prominent ones was Lamont Cranston, in-universe and out. The fact that later variants of Allard were typically dual variants of Cranston compounds confusion for some.
